Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka & transfer to Negombo

Upon arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport Katunayake (BIA); complete all immigration and customs formalities. As you exit into the arrival lobby, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal chauffeur guide, who will greet you with a traditional garland and assist you with your luggage.

You will then be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Negombo. a charming coastal town known for its colonial heritage and vibrant fishing culture, located just north of Colombo.Afternoon at leisure.Standard check-in time is from 14:00 hrs.unless an early check-in has been pre-arranged.

Enjoy an overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 02

Negombo morning experience and brief city tour

Negombo Experience to Habarana Exploration

Begin with your day with an early morning visit (except on Sundays and public holidays) to the vibrant Negombo Fish Market, where you can witness the bustling trade of the day\;s fresh catch and experience the authentic rhythm of local coastal life.

Thereafter proceeding for a relaxing boat ride in the serene lagoon of Negombo, gliding through mangroves and traditional fishing areas while observing local birdlife and age-old fishing techniques. Following this enjoy a brief City tour of Negombo.

Return to the hotel for a wash and enjoy your breakfast; and then you will proceed to Habarana. Arrive in Habarana and check-in at the hotel booked, rest of the day free.

Day 03

Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Village Experience

Habarana to Sigiriya Heritage

Proceed to visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's most remarkable cultural landmarks. Rising dramatically from the surrounding plains, this ancient rock fortress dates back to the 5th century and once served as a royal palace of King Kashyapa. The site is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, sophisticated water systems, reservoirs, and the remains of an advanced urban complex.

During your ascent, admire the world-famous Sigiriya frescoes—vivid ancient paintings that showcase the artistic excellence of the era—as well as the impressive Mirror Wall and the monumental Lion's Paw entrance. The climb to the summit takes approximately 2–3 hours (round trip) and rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Note: While Sigiriya is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” this is an informal title and not an official UNESCO designation.

Following the visit, enjoy an authentic village experience in the nearby rural area. This immersive excursion offers a glimpse into traditional Sri Lankan life, thrilling bicycle ride through local countryside (optional- a bullock cart ride or tractor ride), a canoe trip across a village lake, and a visit to a local home where you can experience simple village cooking authentic lunch and warm hospitality.

Enjoy a free Swing ride in Sigiriya for an iconic photograph with 'Swing in Sigiriya'. This is a popular tourist attraction located near the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress in Sri Lanka, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, the swing gives visitors to take breathtaking photos against the backdrop of lush greenery and ancient ruins. Offering an unforgettable experience for travelers looking to explore the beauty of our Country while creating Instagram-worthy memories.

Return back to same hotel and enjoy the overnight stay.

Day 04

Polonnaruwa Ancient City & Optional Safari

Visit ancient city of Polonnaruwa & Safari experience at a national park of your choice History & Wildlife

After breakfast, proceed to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its well-preserved ruins dating from the 11th to 13th centuries. This historic capital showcases the grandeur of Sri Lanka’s medieval period and is divided into several key areas, including the sacred Dalada Maluwa (Quadrangle), the Northern Monuments, and the Royal Citadel.

Discover the highlights of the Quadrangle, home to some of the most significant and compact architectural masterpieces, along with impressive structures such as vatadages, image houses, and ancient shrines. Continue to the Royal Citadel, where you will see the remains of the royal palace, audience hall, and other important administrative buildings that once formed the heart of the kingdom.

Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant (if required).

In the afternoon, you may opt for an exciting wildlife safari at one of the nearby national parks—Minneriya National Park, Kaudulla National Park, or Hurulu Eco Park—depending on seasonal wildlife movements. These parks are for the “Gathering” of wild elephants, offering to witness large herds in their natural habitat.

Thereafter, proceed to same hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 05

Habarana to Kandy

Dambulla Cave Temple, Spice Experience & Kandy Cultural Visit Culture

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed towards Kandy, with En route visits to Dambulla and Matale. Begin with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dambulla Cave Temple, an impressive complex of rock caves adorned with ancient Buddhist murals and over 150 statues of the Buddha, dating back to the 1st century BC.

Continue your journey to Matale for a visit to a traditional spice garden, where you will discover Sri Lanka’s long-standing reputation—historically known as Taprobane— for producing world-renowned spices. During your visit, you will gain insight into the cultivation and uses of spices and Ayurvedic herbs. (Spices are available for purchase; however, there is no obligation to buy.)

Thereafter, proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to freshen up.

In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world and a monumental symbol of Sri Lanka’s rich heritage. The sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha was brought to Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya I, who safeguarded it within this temple.

Note: Visitors are required to wear modest clothes when entering the temple. Footwear must be removed at the entrance (secure storage facilities are available), and cameras are permitted.

Day 06

Kandy to Ella

Highlands Drive & Scenic Train Ride Scenic

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out, and proceed on a scenic drive through the highlands of Nuwara Eliya then to Ella. The journey offers breathtaking views of lush green landscapes, cascading waterfalls, tea plantations and a traditional tea factory en route, where you will gain insight into Sri Lanka's world-famous tea production process.

Then proceed to the railway station at Nanuoya(Nuwara-Eliya) to board one of Sri Lanka’s most famous scenic train journeys, travelling through the island’s picturesque hill country. The train ride is renowned for its breathtaking views of rolling green landscapes, misty mountains, and charming countryside — offering a truly unique and unforgettable travel experience.

Day 07

Exploring Ella Attractions

Nine Arch Bridge, Waterfalls & Little Adam's Peak Scenic & Spiritual

After breakfast - exploring some of Ella iconic attractions such as visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, renowned for its stunning colonial-era architecture, and waterfalls and the spectacular vistas of Ella gap, creating a truly unforgettable experience or opt for a gentle hike to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic sunset views.

Alternatively, you may choose to visit a nearby temple and immerse yourself in the serene spiritual ambiance of the area.

Day 08

Ella to Yala

Off-road Jeep Safari in Yala National Park Safari

After breakfast, you will proceed to Yala, and in the afternoon visit Yala National Park to enjoy an off-road, thrilling jeep safari—one of the island's most famous wildlife experiences.

During your safari, you may be fortunate to encounter majestic elephants, elusive leopards, wild boars, and a variety of other fascinating unforgettable experiences.

After a fun-filled and adventurous holiday in Sri Lanka, it's time to say Goodbye!!! Today you will be transferred to the Airport in time for your flight (5 hrs prior to the flight time).
