Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka & transfer to Negombo

Ayubowan! We welcome you to Sri Lanka! Arrival

Upon arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport Katunayake (BIA); complete all immigration and customs formalities. As you exit into the arrival lobby, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal chauffeur guide, who will greet you with a traditional garland and assist you with your luggage.

You will then be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Negombo. a charming coastal town known for its colonial heritage and vibrant fishing culture. Located just north of Colombo. - Afternoon at leisure or do a brief City Tour of Negombo.

Standard check-in time is from 14:00 hrs. unless an early check-in has been pre-arranged. Enjoy an overnight stay in Negombo.

Note: The journey from the airport to Negombo will take approximately 15 minutes.
Day 02

From Negomobo to Anuradhapura

Guided city tour of Negombo Exploration

Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided city tour of Negombo, including a visit to the original fish market. Please note that the fish market operates only during the early morning hours and remains closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Thereafter, enjoy a scenic morning boat ride through the lagoon. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a refreshing cocktail experience featuring a freshly prepared Arrack cocktail or a chilled King Coconut.

After a quick refreshment break, proceed with your transfer to Anuradhapura. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03

From Anuradhapura to Trincomalee

Safari at Wilpattu & City Tour in Anuradhapura Wilderness & Heritage

Breakfast at the hotel followed by an exciting safari experience at Wilpattu National Park. Enjoy a thrilling jeep safari through Sri Lanka's largest national park, famous for its natural lakes, dense wilderness, and diverse wildlife. If you are fortunate, elusive leopards may be spotted along with sloth bears, elephants, spotted deer, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.

Thereafter, proceed for a brief city tour of Anuradhapura, the island's first ancient kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covering some of its most significant historical and sacred landmarks.

Note: The journey from Anuradhapura to Trincomalee will take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Day 04 & 05

Two days of Experiencing Trincomalee

Welcome to the East Coast of Sri Lanka Adventure or Utter Rest

After breakfast at the hotel, the day will be free for leisure and relaxation by the beach.

You may also choose from exciting optional excursions above day 4 or day 5 such as a snorkeling experience at Pigeon Island National Park, including a boat ride to the island, where you can explore vibrant coral reefs and tropical marine life.

Alternatively, during the season from April to September, you may enjoy an unforgettable whale and dolphin watching boat trip off the eastern coast of Sri Lanka.

Day 06

Trincomalee to Sigiriya

A blend of Cullture, Architecture and History History & Culture

Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out and transfer to Sigiriya.

En route, visit the sacred Koneswaram Temple, beautifully located on Swami Rock overlooking the Indian Ocean, and continue to Fort Frederick, a historic fort originally built by the Portuguese and later occupied by the Dutch and British

Upon entering the Sigiriya region, you may also visit the world-famous Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock Fortress. Please note that climbing to the summit and returning may take approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07

Sigiriya

Grandeur of Sigiriya and Simplicity of Sri Lankan Village History & Culture

Sigiriya is often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

If you missed on previous day visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's most remarkable cultural landmarks. Rising dramatically from the surrounding plains, this ancient rock fortress dates back to the 5th century and once served as a royal palace of King Kashyapa. The site is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, sophisticated water systems, reservoirs, and the remains of an advanced urban complex.

Following the visit, enjoy an authentic village experience in the nearby rural area. This immersive excursion offers a glimpse into traditional Sri Lankan life, thrilling bicycle ride through local countryside (optional- a bullock cart ride or tractor ride), a canoe trip across a village lake, and a visit to a local home where you can experience simple village cooking authentic lunch and warm hospitality.

Enjoy a free Swing ride in Sigiriya for an iconic photograph with 'Swing in Sigiriya'. This is a popular tourist attraction located near the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress in Sri Lanka, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, the swing gives visitors to take breathtaking photos against the backdrop of lush greenery and ancient ruins. Offering an unforgettable experience for travelers looking to explore the beauty of our Country while creating Instagram-worthy memories.

Return back to same hotel and enjoy the overnight stay.

Day 08

Sigiriya to Kandy

Dambulla Cave Temple, Ayurvedic Village in Matale & Kandy Cultural Visit Culture

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed towards Kandy, with En route visits to Dambulla and Matale.

Begin with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dambulla Cave Temple, an impressive complex of rock caves adorned with ancient Buddhist murals and over 150 statues of the Buddha, dating back to the 1st century BC.

Continue your journey to Matale for a visit to a traditional Ayurvedic village followed by spice garden, where you will discover Sri Lanka's long-standing reputation—historically known as Taprobane— for producing world-renowned spices. During your visit, you will gain insight into the cultivation and uses of spices and Ayurvedic herbs. (Spices are available for purchase; however, there is no obligation to buy.)

Thereafter, proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to freshen up.

In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world and a monumental symbol of Sri Lanka's rich heritage. The sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha was brought to Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya I, who safeguarded it within this temple in Kandy. Note: Visitors are required to wear modest clothes when entering the temple. Footwear must be removed at the entrance (secure storage facilities are available), and cameras are permitted.

Day 09

Kandy to Haputale

To Haputale via Nuwara Eliya Further up the Hill Country

Breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out and transfer to Haputale via Nuwara Eliya.

En route, enjoy visits to picturesque waterfalls and a tea plantation with a guided tour of a tea factory, including a memorable tea-plucking experience.Please note that tea Pluckers may not be available on public holidays.

Thereafter, experience one of the most scenic and famous train journeys in Sri Lanka from Nuwara Eliya area to Haputale (approximately 2 to 3 hours).

Upon arrival, Check in to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 10

Haputale to Udawalawe

To Udawalawe via Ella Highlands to Wilderness

Breakfast at the hotel - followed by an early morning excursion to Lipton's Seat by Tuk Tuk, locally known as a three-wheeler — a popular mode of transport across Asia. Arriving before 10:00 hrs is highly recommended to enjoy the best panoramic views of the surrounding tea plantations and mountain landscapes.

Thereafter, proceed to Udawalawe via Ella with a brief city tour en route.

Upon arrival in Udawalawe, visit the renowned Elephant Transit Home, a rehabilitation centre dedicated to the care and protection of orphaned baby elephants before they are released back into the wild. The Elephant Transit Home is open only during feeding times at 09:00 hrs, 12:00 noon, 15:00 hrs, and 18:00 hrs. Visitors may observe the feeding session from the viewing platform for approximately 20 minutes while the elephants are being fed milk.

Optional: An exciting jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park can be arranged for those interested in experiencing Sri Lanka's wildlife and spotting elephants in their natural habitat.

Day 11

Udawalawe to the beach property via Galle

To Down South Coast via Galle Coastal Bliss

After breakfast Proceed to the historic fortified city of Galle along the expressway, where you will enjoy a guided city tour, explore the iconic Galle fort- a UNESCO world heritage site, renowned for its colonial architecture, charming streets and rich history.

Enjoy the surroundings of iconic fort and continue through scenic journey towards the south coast with a visit to a local turtle hatchery, dedicated to the conservation of endangered sea turtles.

Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota region Hotel.

Day 12

Down South Exploration

Madu River Boat Safari and Gemstone Heritage Coastal & Cultural

Enjoy an excursion to the scenic Madu River for a relaxing boat safari through its beautiful mangrove surroundings. During the excursion, experience fish therapy and discover local village life and traditional activities along the river.
