Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka & transfer to Colombo

Ayubowan! We welcome you to Sri Lanka! Arrival

Upon arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport Katunayake (BIA); complete all immigration and customs formalities. As you exit into the arrival lobby, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal chauffeur guide, who will greet you with a traditional garland and assist you with your luggage

You will then be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Colombo. Afternoon at leisure. Standard check-in time is from 14:00 hrs. unless an early check-in has been pre-arranged.

Enjoy an overnight stay in Colombo.

Transferring you to your hotel in Colombo from the airport will take approximately 45 minutes.

Day 02

Colombo to Galle

Madhu River Boat Safari, Turtle Hatchery & Galle Fort Tour Exploration

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic journey towards the south coast.

En route, experience a tranquil boat safari along the Madhu River, where you will glid through serene mangroves and discover the rich biodiversity of this unique ecosystem. Continue your journey with a visit to a local turtle hatchery, dedicated to the conservation of endangered sea turtles.

Proceed thereafter to the historic fortified city of Galle, where you will enjoy a guided city tour, explore the iconic Galle fort- a UNESCO world heritage site, renowned for its colonial architecture, charming streets and rich history.

Note: The journey from Colombo to Galle will take approximately 2 hours.

Day 03

Galle to Yala

Yala National Park Jeep Safari Wildlife

After breakfast at the hotel, depart towards the deep south, travelling to Yala National Park.

Following lunch, set out on an exciting jeep safari into the park. You are advised to arrive at the park ticketing office by 14:30 hrs. to ensure timely entry. Your experienced guide will accompany you throughout the safari, offering insights into the park's unique wildlife and landscapes.

During your safari, you may be fortunate to encounter majestic elephants, elusive leopards, wild boars, and a variety of other fascinating species in their natural habitat.

You will be able to leave the park by 5.30 pm after the safari and proceed to the hotel.

Note: The journey from Galle to Yala will take approximately 2 hours.

Day 04

Yala to Ella

Drive through Scenic Highlands & Exploring Ella Attractions Scenic

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out, and proceed on a scenic drive northward towards the highlands of Ella.

The journey offers breathtaking views of lush green landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and the spectacular vistas of the Ella Gap, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival in Ella, spend the evening exploring some of its iconic attractions. Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, renowned for its stunning colonial-era architecture, or opt for a gentle hike to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic sunset views. Alternatively, you may choose to visit a nearby temple and immerse yourself in the serene spiritual ambiance of the area.

Day 05

Ella to Kandy

Scenic Hill Country Train Journey & Kandy Cultural Show Culture

After breakfast, proceed to the railway station to board one of Sri Lanka’s most famous scenic train journeys, travelling through the island's picturesque hill country. The train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya is renowned for its breathtaking views of rolling green landscapes, misty mountains, and charming countryside — offering a truly unique and unforgettable travel experience.

Following the journey, visit lush tea plantations and a traditional tea factory en route, where you will gain insight into Sri Lanka's world-famous tea production process.

Continue your journey to Kandy, the cultural capital of the island, where you will check in to your hotel upon arrival.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

Note:The journey from Ella to Kandy will take approximately 3 hours excluding Train ride.

Day 06

Kandy to Bentota region

Royal Botanical Gardens & Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage Nature

After breakfast, proceed to visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens, renowned for its extensive collection of tropical flora and serene landscapes. Alternatively, enjoy a brief city tour of Kandy, exploring its cultural landmarks and vibrant atmosphere.

Thereafter, continue your journey with a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe rescued elephants being cared for and, at times, bathing in the nearby river.

Following lunch, proceed towards the coast for your relaxing beach stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings by the ocean. Check-in at the beach hotel.

Note:The journey from Kandy to Bentota will take approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Day 07

Full Day Leisure at the Beach Resort

Relaxation by the Ocean Leisure

Full day leisure at the hotel on HB. Enjoy the swimming pool including a pleasant beach view, or take a walk along the pristine coastline.

Day 08

Departure

Goodbye Sri Lanka Departure

After a fun-filled and adventurous holiday in Sri Lanka, it's time to say Goodbye!!! Today you will be transferred to the Airport in time for your departure flight (5 hrs prior to the flight time).
